Herald-Whig Staff Writer Rodney Hart writes about crime and courts and does two columns a week.
He’s a 22-year newspaper veteran and grew up in Canada and Michigan, graduating from Central Michigan University in 1988. He spent 10 years as a sports editor, including 2 1/2 at The Whig, and has lived in Quincy since 1996.
The father of Emily Hart, 19, his hobbies include golf, sitting on the beach, playing guitar and finding obscure 80s bands on YouTube.com. He plays in the Quincy band The Cheeseburgers, who are planning a “Hold The Pickle” world tour soon.
