Posted by – December 2, 2011

Former President Bill Clinton was interviewed on the PBS Newshour Friday.

Clinton talked about his new book “Back to Work: Why We Need Smart Government for a Strong Economy.” In addition, Clinton predicted that Barack Obama would be re-elected in 2012.

The longest-running topic in the interview, with Judy Woodruff, concerned Clinton’s thoughts on Newt Gingrich and how the former Speaker had been able to work with Clinton.

  1. Bill says:

Clinton saying the Republicans have gone “so far right” … what a surprise. A super majority of voters want lower taxes and less government. That is hardly “so far right”, especially since government has gotten bigger and bigger constantly.

But Democrats have indeed gone “so far left”. Kerry, Gore, Obama were all extreme left compared to other Democrats. Yet Clinton tries smugly to frame that as normal. Obama sues Boeing for creating jobs in a right to work state … how dare they not submit to union demands. We have a “unions first” president.

PBS mostly represents the left, not the general “public”.
