Outlook: The Tigers may have been playing their best basketball during the postseason until they lost to New Bloomfield in the Class 2 sectional at the buzzer.
Canton graduated two solid scorers in Carper (18 ppg) and Simmons (10 ppg) and a smart floor general in DeCoster. Janney is a returning all-district performer and will be ready to step in to fill the shoes of those players. Look for Serbin to continue to improve inside.
“We have guys who have matured and are ready to score,” said Anderson of finding scoring replacements for Carper and Simmons. “We are not as deep as last year but if we work hard every night we will be fine.”
