Key losses: G Austin Hinkle, G Jacob Bross.
Outlook: The Panthers graduated one of the best backourts in the area. Hinkle scored 17.3 ppg on his way to being selected CCC player of the year and Class 3 first-team all-state. Bross followed with 8.7 ppg.
Butler and Conoyer should be ready to fill in those positions. There’s plenty of experience returning as Gruenloh, Thompson and White have all played varsity for three years. Palmyra should get a boost from Powell’s defense and intensity.
“We have steadily improved over the last two years as these guys have grown and become better basketball players,” Thomas said. “Our goal every night is to give 100 percent effort and to be competitive.”
