2011-12 SEASON OUTLOOK

Coach: Lindsay Uhlmeyer (0-0 at Canton, first season; overall, same).
2010-11 record:
3-18
Returning starters:
G Katie Shuman, 5-2, Sr.; G Lauren Janney, 5-5, Soph.; F Courtney Baalman, 5-9, Jr.
Other returning letterwinners:
G-F Jordyn Crenshaw, 5-7, Soph.; G-F Jessie Campen, 5-7, Jr.; G Josie Walsh, 5-7, Jr.
New faces:
G Brittney Berhorst, 5-5, Fr.
Key losses:
G Kristyn Caldwell, C Monica Campen.
Outlook:
Uhlmeyer is the Lady Tigers’ third coach in the past three seasons. Her work is cut out for her as she attempts to rebuild a team which won only three games last year.
Shuman will be the leader and is the only player left from the state tournament teams won placed second in 2009 and fourth in 2010. Janney and Baalman both stepped into the starting lineup last season and will be expected to produce again this year.
“We had some kids who really worked hard to improve their games over the summer and I think we will see some increased confidence on the floor,” Uhlmeyer said.
