Invitations: Design your own

My main words of advice; call around for prices.

If you have the ability, design your own!  You will save a lot of money.

Simply take your design to a local print/office supply store, and they can make you the required amount on card-stock.  If you would like them too, they can also cut them to the correct size.

My biggest advice: Before cutting the invitations, make sure you can find the correct size envelope.  This is a situation we ran into.

Our invites were too small for the envelopes, but “Oh well. What do you do?”

One with the most important design ideas to making an invitation is to not overcrowd things. The much more negative or open space you leave within the style the better and much more elegant the overall look and feel of the invitation will be. If you can begin preparing out the rough suggestions you would like. Are you looking for initials to be around the card or a dove? What themes do you would like and where will you place them around the invitation. You are able to either finalize these early sketches yourself or have a professional designer do the function for you.
