Modified feature winner Michael Long and three of the top five late model finishers allowed Quincy Raceways regulars to put their stamp on Friday night’s competition at the Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, Iowa.

Long dominated most of the main event, finishing comfortably ahead of Brandon Rothzen and the rest of the 20-car field.

Jeff Aikey claimed the 24-car late model feature checkered flag, but Bullring regulars Mark Burgtorf (second), Denny Woodworth (fourth) and Lonnie Bailey (fifth) were also among the contenders. Boone McLaughlin finished third.

Jeff Mueller took the 15-car stock car feature. Abe Huls ended up fifth.

GMF meant Pratt not Perry when mentioning our local boys. Funny thing is our locals made up over half the late model field. Whoo Hoo Burgtorf 2nd is the best but will take it. Quincy put on a good showing in all the classes except poor mr. arron B had a blown motor. Tuff start this season for a good driver
