Bailey, Deering, Steinkuhler, Anders ZZ Top Award winners

Shawn Deering wins his first ZZ Top Sharp Dressed Man Award.

Three first-time winners highlight the 12th annual Stevie Dirt blog’s ZZ Top Sharp Dressed Man Awards.

Matt Bailey in late models, Shawn Deering in modifieds, Steve Steinkuhler in stock cars and Bobby Anders in hobby stocks have the sharpest-looking rides among this year’s Bullring regulars. Anders is only two-time winner among the quartet.

Bailey’s new orange-yellow-white approach is a throwback to the classic late model look. He also follows in his dad’s footsteps. Matt’s dad, Lonnie, was the 2007 ZZ Top winner.

Deering’s modified also possesses a turn-back-the-clock approach with a striking blue background, red numbers and yellow script “Deering” all helping accent the color scheme.

Deering and the other three 2010 recipients have one distinct similarity — each of the four have crisp, easy-to-read numbers that are not lost in a maze of colors and designs.

Steinkuhler’s striking No. 06 is easy to pick out on the track and looks great under the lights.

Anders’ basic black look, complimented by orange and white, was one of the nicest looking hobby stocks in recent years when he took the track on opening night.

Earning the Most Improved Look this season were Darin Weisinger in late models, Troy Grotz in modifieds (Trent also drives the car), Aaron Brocksieck in stock cars and Nathan Anders in hobby stocks. Anders is only the second-ever driver to win back-to-back Most Improved Look kudos.
