No Quincy driver finished higher than eighth Friday night in the IMCA late model feature at Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, Iowa. Winner Jeff Guengerich, Tom Goble, Tony Fraise, Colby Springsteen and T.J. Criss made up the top five.
Mark Burgtorf was the leading local finisher in eighth, followed by Keith Pratt in ninth. Other local hotshoes who made the trip north included Denny Woodworth in 13th, Justin Reed in 15th, Robby Warner in 19th, Tony Dunker in 20th and Ron Elbe in 22nd. Twenty-three cars started the feature.
The modified and stock car features were rained out.
