Driver Kenny Wallace, who has raced in all three of NACAR’s top series, is scheduled to run Sunday night at Quincy Raceways.

Wallace, who is bringing his UMP modified to the .29-mile track, will be available to talk with fans and sign autographs in the pit area following the races.

Wallace has been a frequent visitor to Quincy in recent years. His Bullring roots trace to the 1980s when he used to work in the pits with brother Mike, who was a weekly late model combatant when the track was NASCAR sanctioned.

Racing starts at 5:30 p.m. Grandstands open at 4, pit gates at 2:30.

Check the Quincy Raceways website at for additional information, or call the track hotline at (217) 224-4100.

Micheal Long won at Granite City last night, I don’t know if Kenny was there or not.

  2. just a fan says:

Well he’s gonna hafta to work for it if he wants to beat our guys. I’m still thinking a homefry will take it. Just my opinion.

If we are able to race and he brings the same car he raced in Florida, this should be a good race. Mr. Long and the other Quincy boys will have their hands full defending their home turf!! He pretty much stunk up the show in Florida,I watched online to see how our local guys would do,and got tired of seeing him win all the time!!:)
