Amen to Jeff Carter. He also sponsored trophy dashes….classes…special races… And the name “Summy Tire” can be seen on numerous cars. An all around good guy!!

How about some real pioneers – Terry Schlipman (also won a DEERY Series Championship), John Ellerman, Ron Elbe, Mike Wallace, Jim Roach, Rick Deweese, Bobby Ellis, Roy Ellis,Dick Crane, Jim Swank, Ron Monroe. These guys were around in the 70′s, 80′s 90′s and some are still hanging out at the track today. I agree on Jeff Klingle also, he was one of the best on the “start from a dead stop” in the old bombers. Yes they used to start those from a dead stop. I can tell you of fans that have supported QR since it has opened. I think the HofF should start with the older generation then work on the newer.

CHARLIE , I THINK ONE PERSON WHO HAS BEEN OVERLOOKED IS RICK INGALLS FROM RICK’S TRANSIT REPAIR. NOT ONLY WAS HE ONE OF THE MAIN COGS BEHIND MARK BURGTORF , HE HAS HELPED SO MANY OTHER DRIVERS OVER THE YEARS.NOT ONLY DID HE HELP THEM WITH MONEY BUT HIS MECHANICAL ABILITY’S AS WELL. IF YOU DONE A POLL IN THE PIT AREA I BET YOU WOULD FIND HE HAS HELPED HALF OF THEM IN SOME FORM OR ANOTHER. ALSO ANOTHER PERSON TO ADD TO IT IS JEFF CARTER FROM SUMMY TIRE.HE HAS BEEN ON THE SIDE OF MOST DRIVERS CARS FOR ALOT OF YEARS.HE HAS AS WELL BEEN ONE OF THE REASON’S MARK BURGTORF HAS DONE SO WELL OVER THE YEARS.

If anyone has any body they believe should be there send me an email with “ALL” of the reasons they should be there. On the other hand if you don’t think someone should be there also send the reasons why, not just because you don’t like the person. Every thing will be taken to our meetings when we have them. If you have comments get them to me now. Send them to fatn40@adams.net. I will email you back letting you know I received them, however nothing will be considered with out having your real name with the email.
