Kim Abbott exorcised quite a few dirt-track demons in 2015, including winning her first Stevie All-Dirt Team Driver of the Year honor.
For the previous four years, Abbott earned a First Row berth, but always came up short in the Driver of the Year award.
Not this time.
Abbott was the first female to win a Quincy Raceways track championship, led her class in Herald-Whig Performance Points and won more races (13) than any other sport compact driver.
Brandon Lambert and Jeffrey DeLonjay each enjoyed banner second halves of the season and landed a First Row position. For Lambert, who tied Abbott for features won with seven, it was his second straight First Row honor, following a Second Row selection in 2012.
Trent Orwig and John Girdley each claimed their first Second Row honor.
